Lokahi Garden Sanctuary is a custom 3 bedroom 3 bath quartzite-stone sided home of 2500 square feet located on ten lush acres that overlook the vast Pacific Ocean and Maui. LGS is a Holistic Healing Retreat Center that offers residential healing programs and at alternate times has rooms for rent. You can rent the entire lodge, the guest wing (2 bedrooms and 2 baths), or a single bedroom/bath. An indoor bamboo and rain forest garden greets you as you enter the front door. The interior features a great room with large beamed cathedral ceilings of aromatic Port Orford cedar. Floors of warm Brazilian cherry wood combined with cool polished and textured granite guide you to the large windows and sliding glass doors with sweeping ocean views. A magnificent well appointed kitchen with granite counters makes meal preparation a delight. The great room opens to a spacious lanai (porch) with views of the deep blue Pacific and the island of Maui. There are three attractive bedrooms, (one of which is a master suite with a large, deep granite bathtub) and three elegant bathrooms (including two outdoor showers). The attractive study/office has a built in desk and wall to ceiling bookshelves. High-speed wireless computer access is available. A complete laundry center is conveniently located off of the kitchen. This sunny location is just 10 minutes from ocean swimming and 25 minutes to world class beaches and golf courses. Quaint Hawi town is a short walk away.
The Grounds
Lokahi Lodge is situated within our botanical sanctuary with over 175 different plant species. You can stroll through the gardens and forest and find a quiet spot to totally relax. Additionally, you can walk our seven circuit labyrinth or swing in the hammock in the woods.
