My husband and I (Astrologer/philosopher/vegan and Singer/songwriter/teacher/healer) invite you to stay in our 2bed/1ba hse.
Private Queen Sized sunny furnished 9x12 room w/built in cupboard, desk and wireless access.
The house is large, has laundry nearby and a flower-filled garden which you are welcome to enjoy (the cabin in the pic below is our cabin, not the house!).
The area: we are on Marin @ Stannage in Albany, a few blocks east of San Pablo Ave. It's very residential and walking distance from the Albany Landmark theater and loads (yes LOADS!) of multi-cultural and unique restaurants. Our nearest freeway exit is Buchanan off of 80 and we're about 15 mins drive to SF and 10 mins drive to the Richmond/San Rafael bridge which takes you to Beautiful Marin. Approx 1.25 hrs to Napa/Calistoga. Albany adjoins Berkeley so is good for UC Berkeley as it has buses that go directly there (5-10min ride).
It's a safe area and parking is easy. On Marin you need no permit and on the side streets you just need to keep an eye out for street cleaning days. Tennis courts and beautiful walks nearby and a few mins drive from Albany Waterfront and Berkeley. This is a calm and peaceful space - ideal for those looking for a tranquil place to call home for a few nights to a few weeks.
We provide linens/towels/bathmat/bedding etc. (organic sheets and all clean and freshly washed)
$55/night ($15 additional for a second person in the same room) and breakfast, should you want it, is $10 extra/person. Breakfast is continental and organic; cereals, juice, tea, coffee, toast, condiments, fresh fruit.
Alternatively you can stay on a weekly basis for $300/wk one person & $385/wk two people. (one weeks notice needed, if ongoing).
