Rojo Cinco Buggy
The "Rojo Cinco" is our High Performance Family buggie.
It seats FIVE adults.
Minimum age 30 to rent.
Maximum passenger weight: 800 pounds
Must be previous renter and advanced reservations required.
Hourly rate: $250 an hour. Minimum 1.5 hours per rental. Hence the $375 price advertised here as a daily price (it's for an hour and a half).

To accomodate with Zilok pricing policies, we advertise the buggy for the "daily price" of $375, which in fact corresponds to 1.5 hours of rental, which is the minimum time you can rent with us, and which is also for most people as much as they can ride the buggy, it's a lot of fun but also a very physical experience!
Location/Directions
The recreation area is located in Oceano, three miles south of Pismo Beach off Highway 1.
Safety First
We've provided the safest off-road vehicles available to rent on the dunes as they come equipped with roll cages, seatbelts, and helmets for your safety. You as the renter take the responsibility to operate the vehicle responsibly. Rolling the buggie is the result of irresponsible operation.
Our buggies are similar to your car. They are equipped with a steering wheel, brake petal, & gas petal.
Buggy Rental Legal Stuff
Operating or being a passenger in any ORV entails a certain amount of risk. Operation of any rental equipment is at renter's own RISK. Sunbuggie assumes no liability regarding property damage, loss, theft, or personal injury.- Helmets must be worn at all times.
- Eyewear is required.
- Damage can exceed the deposit.
- No checks accepted.
- Minimum age on most rentals is 18years. (passenger excluded)
Operation of off-road vehicles is not allowed North of Pole #2, beyond any fenced areas, on any vegetation, near or at any wildlife, or in any identified archeological or paleontological sites. It is illegal to remove any artifacts from the dunes. The speed limit on the beach or within 150 ft. of any campsite is 15 mph, and must be kept reasonable and within your control on the dunes. Careless or reckless driving will result in termination of your ride. Helmet must be worn at all times.
Protect your Rights
We would like to point out the following facts. The Oceano Dunes Park consists of 15,900 acres, yet the off-road enthusiast currently has the right to ride on only 1,500 acres, and while the park has 17 miles of beach coastline, riding is permitted on only 5.5 miles of it. To prevent losing additional riding territory, or all riding rights, we must all respect and protect our environment. To protect your rights to ride you must obey all laws and regulations.
We share the Dunes with an abundance of wildlife, including two species of birds on the “endangered species” list. Sun buggie Fun Rentals fully supports the environmental policies of the state of California. We ask our customers to do likewise, to respect and protect our natural resources.
