Needing utility trailer for move from vacaville ca to kansas city mo

Good morning. Just found Zilok website last night. I am looking for an enclosed utility trailer, 4' x 8' - 5' x 8' - my car cannot tow anything bigger. Am moving from Vacaville, CA to Kansas City, MO in July.  I know trailers are available to rent but do not know if any are available to rent for a one way trip - so I guess that is the million dollar question.  I have checked rates on renting one from uHaul - about $700.00 which includes trailer rental, tow bar specific for my car, hitch, hitch balls, wiring...then I have to figure in how much gas it will take to make the trip to Missouri.  I have very little money to work with so am looking for other ways to get my things home instead of using uHaul.  Pulling a utility trailer has to be the cheapest way as opposed to using a service like POD, but would love any suggestions/ideas to consider.  I have a bedroom full of stuff as opposed to house full of stuff (bed frame, mattress/box springs, 6' bookshelf, two end table storage units, corner corner computer desk, computer, printer, flat screen tv, bicycle, golf clubs, clothes, shoes, outerwear, bath stuff, bedding, boxes of photo albums, books, lots of picture frames).  Thank you.
