New Feature: Ask questions to the owners!

Zilok is all about the community. We take feedback from our members very seriously, and would like to thank everyone for their valuable input.

Now, following up on many user requests, we introduce a new feature that allows to directly ask questions to owners of rental items!

When looking up an object, if the description is not enough for you to make your decision, you can use the button located on the owner profile to get some more information. Enjoy!

Hi Joe,

Sorry the results to your search appeared unrelevant. I would suggest using the search engine of the website and typing what you want, in your example "sander". That should do it!

I tested a few items to rent and items that have nothing to do with what I want to rent came up how are you going to solve this problem? It is frustrating to need a (example only) ladder and get a sander as a result.

You're right Mahir, Zilok is designed to keep Member information private until a transaction has been agreed on. Also, we have to make sure that the messaging system is not abused with spam or insulting messages.
eBay had the same challenge in its beginnings and they overcame it by making the simple assumption that most people are good. We would like to take the same approach and bet on our community.

How do you plan on controlling the exchange of contact information between users? This system would not work without hiding users'contact info.
